Dies Decem Et Septem

Today started at a slighty later 6:15 AM march,. The weather has been incredibly hot at 24 degrees (75 fahrenheit) which I am finding incredibly hard at the moment. The march was a quick hour long march where I covered 3.5 miles. I went for a mid day march of 1.5 miles. My evening walk was a shorter 3.5 march. All marches were done with a pack of 10kg. I definitely have not missed this ! I covered 8.5 miles today.

 Labour wise I built some planted boxes from 2x4”. Not the most intensive but in this heat I couldn’t of handled anything else.

 Training wise I did 300 squats, 200 push-ups and 100 chin-ups. I tried to do this in the shortest amount of time. I will also be varying the exercises in the workouts but try and keep the rep range similar. I did this workout without body armour purely because I wouldn't be able to do the chin-ups as quickly. Future workouts without the chin-ups will use the body-armour.

 Nutrition wise I am still having stews, but with different ingredients, varying between carrots, leeks, cabbage, onion and of course garlic ! I have however decided to go the way the Romans would of ate with one meal in the morning and one in the evening. I will see how this goes with satiety. I was just under 3000 calories today at 2985.

 

Mentally it was good to be back, the midday march wasn’t bad but I found the morning march was hard as I really didn’t want to get up. Good to be back and get cracking with the rest of the project !
